In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The clearest memory I have is when I was a tiny child in back of my moms car listening to the Late Registration CD she owned. Gold Digger was our song. To this day I have the same exact CD my mom used in that car in my collection. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Childish Gambino, Because the Internet Kanye West, Late Registration Kevin Abstract, ARIZONA BABY Because The Internet taught me that I could build my own world if I wanted. Late Registration was my probably the first album I ever listened to thanks to my mom. ARIZONA BABY literally saved my life. No funny shit. Tell us why you chose this song. “No Man” This was made the morning after I figured out a girl I was in love with had a boyfriend and led me on. I really just sat down in front of the mic and said what was on my mind, no writing at all. This was also the last song I made for this tape. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Probably releasing my album "When Stars Align". I got a phone call from someone saying that what I made was real art and he felt something from it. That album means so much to me, so to hear that made me so happy. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Diving deeper into the fashion industry has always been a goal of mine. I would love to become a stylist alongside an artist. I also just wanna show people that just because what they're chasing is a dream doesn't mean its a fantasy.
