About Rubber Planet

Silver (vocals, bass) and Vitamin G (guitar) were the duo responsible for Rubber Planet's initial operations. The two first met when they still were youngsters, and from that day on their mutual musical liaison led them to play with several groups across the Midwest area. The group's third element, guitarist Brice, joined the two some years later. It was then that the trio began playing as Rubber Planet. Shortly afterward, Leo 7, the band's long-awaited drummer, finalized the Denver's crew lineup. Planet's ability to compose pop/rock themes with uncommon displays of alternative choices provided them with constant airplay at local radio stations, granting the quartet with a constant rising popularity. Lovejones 2000, their first full-length, arrived in 1999, one year before Just Visiting, their second album hit record stores. It was also during the summer of 2000 that Planet managed to share the stage with acts such as Green Day or Papa Roach at several live concerts, therefore providing the band with increased notability. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges
