In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I can remember sitting at the piano at the age of 3 or 4. I'd sit for hours just making up melodies and entertaining myself. It was like entering another world. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Donald Fagen, The Nightfly Miles Davis, Birth of the Cool The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) My tastes are so eclectic. From the genius of The Beatles, to the quirky perfection of Donald Fagen's first solo album, and the brilliance of the horn arranging on the Birth of the Cool. My influences are varied and many. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Will Be Dancing Alone” I chose this song because I really love the Great American Songbook. I wrote this song with composers such as Matt Dennis, Alec Wilder, Cole Porter, and other greats in mind and tried to channel their ability to capture a great story through melody.
