About PENTAGON

PENTAGON is an eclectic and freewheeling Seoul-based K-pop boy band whose leader, Hui, cowrites much of the material.

• The nine-member group formed in 2016. The name PENTAGON is based on the idea that the bandmates bring together five elements on their path to success: vocals, dance, talent, teamwork, and their minds.
• Their 2018 hit “Shine” showcases the band’s playful nature and witty, rhythmic flow.
• In addition to being musicians, several members of PENTAGON are actors.
• Rapper-songwriter E'Dawn left the group in 2018, and in 2020, Jinho went on hiatus to fulfill his mandatory South Korean military service.
• After a series of EPs, PENTAGON released their debut album, Universe: The Black Hall, in 2020.
