In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I've been singing since a very young child. Before I even started school I was singing in the church choir and was always placed at the front to sing the top descant. I remember very clearly standing in between my older sisters singing my heart out. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Andy Sheppard Quartet, Romaria Cleo Sol, Mother Lankum, False Lankum They all, in very different ways, represent raw, human emotion. Lankum through their songwriting and resonant harmonies, Cleo Sol through her exquisite voice and Andy Sheppard through his nuanced composition and performance. Tell us why you chose this song. “Georgia Blue” Georgia Blue was a fictional cross-dressing train driver following a delayed train one freezing January evening. Her character liberated the composition, production and performance revealing a very human need to escape at times everyday drudgery.
