In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Singing in the children's choir at church is my first real musical experience. I remember rehearsing for a solo at around age four and the powerful feelings that rushed through my body as I sang the first note that Sunday morning. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Donny Hathaway, A Donny Hathaway Collection Kings of Leon, Only By the Night Michael Jackson, Off the Wall Each album brings out an overwhelming sensation of energy that transcends from the lyrics, instruments, sounds, and vocals. I am wholeheartedly influenced by these records in life, which produce outward through my art. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Canada” Canada is special because of the creative process. It's amazing how real life experiences fuel creativity—it's funny and magnificent how life works for us. It's also the first song I recorded with Dancinatra, which set the tone for the 1104 EP. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Creating the Love Notes EP. I'm learning myself in ways I never thought I needed to, like my true desires, capabilities, and purpose. I'm grateful for the journey and process because it's become more than just making an album—I'm becoming...me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list includes touring the world to perform in intimate settings and arena stages. I'd love to record a record or two with Shawn Mendes. And I romanticize writing a few books that turn into movies or compelling television series.
