In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I sang with an orchestra. It was Handel's Messiah, and on opening night, as soon as the first notes started playing, I saw an old man in the audience start to silently cry. That's when it first hit me, how transformative music can be. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Gerald Moore, Schubert: Winterreise Jorge Negrete, Fiesta Mexicana: Jorge Negrete Kamelot, The Black Halo The Black Halo was my great-grandma's favorite metal album of all time, even though she didn't speak English. I don't think I would be a mariachi singer without Jorge Negrete. I don't think I'd be a singer without Schubert or Fischer-Dieskau. Of feeling so grateful to feel so in love, and wanting to preserve that moment forever somehow. It's almost like a love song to yourself and your ability to love someone else.
