In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I recall my cousin, a musician, brought my mother the Stones' record Sticky Fingers. They proceeded to unwrap it with wild abandon to see what was under the zipper. I consider that my first real rock & roll experience. I was around 6. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Oblivion” This has always been one of my personal favorites; I suppose cause I set out to write a strong melodic song, like a Neil Finn or Aimee Mann type melody. Lyrically it has more imagery and emotion and less storytelling. I made the song I desired.
