In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At age 9 I landed in Toronto, and by 13, I was already rapping. I started by recording vocals on an MP3 player over background beats but by 16, I realized I needed better quality. That's when I built my own studio to produce and control my own sound. Tell us why you chose this song. “Wata” When I had the idea for "Wata" I was in a stage of reconnecting back to my roots in Jamaica and I wanted to show it in the music. It's a special song to me because it was inspired by my wife's love for afro-beats and dancehall. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Back in 2016-2018, I had the opportunity to open for Ace Hood, and Rich Homie, and Tory Lanez in Toronto and Whitby, Ontario
