About King Roach

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The very first moment I knew I wanted to be a musician was watching the ending of "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey", after they return back from the future and win battle of the bands covering Kiss "God Gave Rock and Roll To You". True story. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Incubus, Make Yourself Radiohead, In Rainbows SOHN, Tremors "Make Yourself" was the soundtrack to my youth; the silent act of rebellion through introspective thought. "In Rainbows" guided the transition I experienced into adulthood. "Tremors" reminded me of who I am after the world tried to dull my light. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Alcohol” I initially wrote this song over a decade ago, while I was still abusing alcohol on a daily basis. Having lived long enough to actually follow through on the promise I made to give up drinking, this song now holds a much more meaningful place in me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Becoming Creative Director for Purfek Storm Group gave me more knowledge and experience in the entertainment world than I could've ever imagined, thus allowing me to become a better, more effective artist. Walking into those doors is most memorable. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still have to tour with my own music, but I'm not in a rush. I've learned to enjoy the process as much as the destination, so I'm learning and growing through every step in this journey. The big stages will come when they are earned. I'm earning.
