In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing with an old Speak and Spell and messing with the input voltage to make it create strange sounds. Programming tunes on a Texas Instrument computer with TI BASIC. Playing an old Yamaha FM keyboard as a kid. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nine Inch Nails, The Fragile Hearing The Downward Spiral for the first time was a revelation, I didn't realize music could sound like that, and down the rabbithole of his industrial predecessors I went, but The Fragile was where the sound matured, and left the confines of genre. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Blood Culture” It was the song where I found my voice. Half-way through writing the album and only then did I realize how I wanted to work the vocals. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In my previous band, Gentleman Loser, doing an entire show decked out as a tongue-in-check occult rite and prior to that, getting to play the last Reverence during Forward Fest. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Being able to travel a little bit to play shows. Assembling a band for this new material and performing it live.
