In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first time ever on stage was at my preschool christmas play when I was 3 years old. Apparently I shot my hand up when my teacher asked who wanted to be the lead role of the Christmas tree. Tell us why you chose this song. “City Cowboy” I wrote this song about my time growing up in the city, but also having our family farm to go out to and spend time at. Our farm where I learned how to drive stick shift, sang in grain bins and watched my dad, uncle and grandpa work as farmers. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Before becoming an artist, I was a Track & Field athlete for Team Canada training in Calgary, Alberta. I made my Calgary Stampede debut last summer and my old coach and teammates were in the packed audience. It was such a special moment for all of us
