In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up in Singapore, Final Fantasy and MapleStory soundtracks showed me music could build entire worlds. I became obsessed with how a score could make you feel and express different emotions without a single word - that obsession never left me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? ILLENIUM, Awake ODESZA, A Moment Apart (Deluxe Edition) Porter Robinson, Worlds A Moment Apart, Worlds, & Awake shaped my entire identity as a producer. Each one is a unique proof that electronic music could be cinematic, emotionally charged, and world-building all at once. These are the albums I hold closest to my heart. Tell us why you chose this song. “Saturday” "Saturday" was the first song I ever wrote, two weeks after I lost Ramen - my dog, my comfort - to cancer. My friends came over to check on me, and somewhere in that grief, this song poured out of me. From that pain, Jaylious was born. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Charting on iTunes Ireland was the moment everything became real. I couldn't believe it! That moment, I realized that music can really connect people across the world even when they have different backgrounds and cultures. Pure disbelief. Pure joy. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Performing at Coachella feels personal - I grew up in Palm Desert, right in its backyard. Beyond that, I want my music to be a place where anyone can feel exactly what they need to feel. No rules. Just permission to feel it all <3!!!
