In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up in a musical family. My father played trumpet and my mother was a percussionist. Being in the church would probably be where I can begin to recall having musical experiences. Right after would be playing in the band in middle school. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? JAŸ-Z, Reasonable Doubt Kendrick Lamar, Section.80 Rick Ross, Teflon Don These albums came out in rather transformative times in my creative journey. They taught me how I can be both strategic and playful with how I approached my own music and my own vulnerability. They are sonically and musically great to me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Tidal Waves” I produced this song. Its special to me because in the moment I was able to capture my feelings of wanting to "do right" but willfully falling into the traps of my sometimes dark nature. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was performing at Bonfire ATL shortly before moving back home. Me and the homies built up a lot of momentum and that day was the last day we were truly together as a unit doing what we loved! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I definitely would like a grammy but at this point I just want to be heard by more than the people in my circle. I feel like I have something to say that may help the next person.
