In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first time performing an original song was for my school's talent show in the 3rd grade. I sang a song I wrote for my grandmother, and I remember feeling untouchable because it was my work. I still remember every word of that song to this day. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Miley Cyrus, Plastic Hearts Shania Twain, Shania Twain: Greatest Hits Taylor Swift, Red These three artists and songwriters have influenced my sound more than anyone else. 'Red' got me through one of my first heartbreaks, while Shania's music was the soundtrack to my childhood. 'Plastic Hearts' pumps me up for my workout daily! Tell us why you chose this song. “Do Your Damage” Do Your Damage is so different from anything else I've ever done before. It has spunk and fire, and its about that moment when you're crushing HARD and there's no turning back. You're done for. I told my producer I want Shania Twain meets Joan Jett! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was lucky enough to return to my hometown last year to perform for the annual Jubilee Days' festivities. It was incredibly rewarding to get to share my music with the people who have supported me from day one. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is so much I would love to do still. I want to release a full length studio album, headline a tour in the U.S., perform internationally, and collaborate with at least one of my idols/inspirations. Hopefully I can make that all happen soon!
