R&B band MiC LOWRY hail from Liverpool, and the five-piece vocal harmony group formed in 2011 through the local music development company Positive Impact. Delleile Ankrah, Akia Jones, Kaine Ofoeme, Ben Sharples, and Michael Welch all grew up within a mile of each other and attended Calderstones School, which counts John Lennon among its former pupils. The band released their debut EP, The Show, in 2015, and in 2016 they were nominated for Liverpool's GIT award. Their profile was further boosted that same year when they were invited to support Justin Bieber on his European Purpose tour, which saw them perform 37 dates in 22 cities. 2016 also saw the release of their single "Oh Lord." ~ Bekki Bemrose
