In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. watching spirited away in my childhood bedroom, getting carried away, not by the visuals but the emotional power of the music. Right then i knew music was for me. Later on i got introduced to the world of lofi, and it was an instant match. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joe Hisaishi, Dream Songs: The Essential Joe Hisaishi Kupla, Kingdom in Blue Tom Doolie, Land of Calm - EP Joe Hisaishi and his breathtaking piano pieces showed me the wonders of melody and emotion, while the skillfully produced works of Kupla and Tom Doolie opened my eyes up to the wonderful world of lofi. Wishful Thinking was the first time i got to work with a skilled instrumentalist in Howden and his soulful trumpet. It was also the first time i got true international recognition and the plays to match. This release showed me the way.
