In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Like all asian kids, growing up I was forced to learn the piano. However after many years of hating it, I eventually learnt Fur Elise on the piano when I was 7, during my grade 3 assessment, and my love and appreciation of music grew from there. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Various Artists, Chillhop Essentials Winter 2016 This was when lo-fi just started coming around, and the sound and textures used in this Album especially was so experimental, unique and blissful in contrast to many lo-fi tracks which sounds too similar to each other today. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bliss” Watching the cherry blossoms fall, experiencing love and meeting my partner led me to blend & find a balance between game instrumentals and lofi, and I truly believe this song represents what I want to create ever since I started my musical journey. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Dropping out of my Aerospace degree program to study music? It was during covid, and life just seemed so out of place and I really had the time to look back and reflect on what I wanted to do in my life, hence music! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To be able to produce for a big artist, to know their story and collaborate and live our dreams together, for that moment.
