In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first albums were Elvis Presley (1956), and Magical Mystery Tour. I was absolutely enthralled for years, even my childhood stuffed animal was named Rocky Raccoon. My love for acoustic guitar, harmony, and roots music I discovered on those tapes. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered The Band, The Band (Remastered) Tom Waits, Nighthawks at the Diner (2018 Remaster) My dad first played me Dark Side when I was nine. Whenever life gets tumultuous or unbearable, I turn the lights off, grab my headphones, and listen to that record. Tom Waits taught me how to write lyrics. The Band taught me how to write a song. I asked some friends to play a secret show of new songs I'd been writing. I think it tells a beautiful story of loss and living, capturing the enduring spirit of a community I’m very proud to be part of. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first band, The Ghost of Paul Revere played our last show in 2022 with 6,500 friends in our hometown. We were introduced by the governor, sang our hearts out, and said goodbye. It was a perfect ending, and the next day I started my solo career. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Go on a World Tour. Headline the Ryman. It's such an honor to be on that stage and I can't wait to perform there again. I also want to make a record of the songs of all the friends I’ve met touring over the years that I fell in love with.
