A teacher pulled me aside in elementary school music and said "you do realize you're singing harmonies, not the melody, right?" I’d always felt I understood music differently than my peers, this proved it to me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hurricane (feat. Jason Michael Carroll)” “Hurricane” is so special to me.I wrote it for my husband when our house flooded. I hope everyone has someone like him in their lives, someone who is their calm in the storm. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to record at “Fame” in Muscle Shoals, AL at just 21 will always be a huge highlight for me. It was truly the experience of a lifetime and I will always treasure the experience and the album we made there. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? What’s left on the bucket list is a chance. One chance at being the national act we know that we can be. That’s what we’ve always worked toward. Even if we fail, to be given an opportunity to play our music for the world would be an extreme honor.
