In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I'd have to say singing a Silent Night solo in my first grade Christmas recital... it was the first time I realized I not only enjoyed to sing but that I was good at it? And other people enjoyed my singing too! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carole King, Tapestry Chance the Rapper, Coloring Book Great Big Sea, Play I stand by Coloring Book being the first gospel album I ever listened to! And Play is an east coast Canadian childhood classic. Lastly, Tapestry to me is a timeless album from an era where women were finally starting to pen their own songs/stories. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Twenty-Two Again” I'm really proud of this one! It was written after a phone call with my best friend, talking about all the things we wished we had done before we entered adulthood, and ever since then it's been inspiring me to live for today and embrace my youth! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Probably getting the email that Maverick City Music's TRIBL was releasing a song I had co-written, sung by Dante Bowe, Brandon Lake, and Ryan Ofei on the Anthologies album just shortly after their Grammy win... yeah that was pretty cool! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A JUNO! I love my lyrics and am amazed by the dedication of my team - it's only a matter of time and timing! :)
