About FIDLAR

LA surf-punk band FIDLAR—an acronym for F**k It Dog, Life’s a Risk—features Elvis and Max Kuehn, sons of T.S.O.L.’s Greg Kuehn. ∙ Stereogum called FIDLAR one of the best new bands of 2012. ∙ Parks and Recreation actor Nick Offerman starred in the video for their 2013 single “Cocaine.” ∙ In 2013, they won Best Web-Born Artist honors at MTV’s O Music Awards. ∙ Their adrenaline-addled “Breaker” appeared on the soundtrack for the film Bill & Ted Face the Music, alongside tracks by Weezer, Cold War Kids, and Mastodon. ∙ 2019’s Almost Free, helmed by producer Ricky Reed (Lizzo, Halsey), received a perfect 5/5 score from Kerrang! ∙ The group’s members play in numerous side-projects, while singer Zac Carper has produced such bands as Dune Rats and SWMRS.
