About Feloni

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I recall sitting in the lunch room trying to learn the lyrics to Sugar Hill Gang's song "Rapper's Delight" when I first heard it. That's the 1st memory I have of Hip Hop, and me trying to get creative with it. In that moment, it was a fun song. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Feloni, A Woman's Revenge It was the 1st of it's kind in Hip Hop. Some people say Queen Latifah was the 1st "out" artist but that's not true bc she never discussed it in her music. I respect that, but I was the 1st "out" on an MTV/Viacom network, but industry wasn't woke yet. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Know You Better” This song is special bc it's so honest. Everything I write it based on real-life experience. I have a comical side to me to don't know about, and I wanted to explore it regarding relationships. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2007 at the African-American Art Museum in Cali while I was performing "Wide Body." Hip Hop Icon, DJ Spinderella was feeling the song and hopped on the 1zs-n-2zs. She also gave me a video-drop, which you can see on my YouTube channel. Much love! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I never plan art ... it just happens, as life happens.
