ENDON

About ENDON

Describing their style as "catastrophic noise-metal," Japanese decibel-shredders Endon live up to their extreme metal claims by unleashing an unwieldy torrent of aural malevolence that blends punk, experimental rock, metal, spaghetti Western motifs, and electronicore into a caustic sonic maelstrom. Frequently described as "the most extreme act in Tokyo," and fronted by unhinged vocalist Taichi Nagura, the group issued its debut album, Mama, in 2015. For their sophomore effort, Endon enlisted help from prolific producer and Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou. The resulting Through the Mirror arrived in 2017. ~ James Christopher Monger
