Nervy and frenetic but never fussy, Editrix's songs churn and keel like a wayward ship -- an intriguing juxtaposition of pop/punk music form and avant-garde, even outsider music ideas. Birthed in the D.I.Y. scene of western Massachusetts, they’ve gained increasing notice with the albums Tell Me I’m Bad (2021), Editrix II: Editrix Goes to Hell (2022), and The Big E (2025), along with projects by the trio’s individual members.
