In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One day my brother just handed me two CDs and said, "Here, listen to these." For whatever reason, on that day I heard music in a whole new way and it became an intense, passionate, and personal experience that made me want to do what they were. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Imagine Dragons, Night Visions My Chemical Romance, The Black Parade The Smashing Pumpkins, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness In my teens, nothing captured the angst and deep emotions I was feeling like Mellon Collie. In my twenties, I was blown away by how MCR managed to create such beautiful melodies and mix it with rock so well. ID inspired me to blend it all together. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Nightmare (Believe)” Making this record, I was going through an incredibly tough time in my personal life and feeling the struggle to keep chasing my dreams. I wanted to create a song that was a reminder to face the nightmares head on and not give up on our dreams. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2015, I played a small live studio recording show that mixed in an interview portion between songs for the audience. I was able to talk about my creative process and what inspired the music I made. Being able to share that was a special moment. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To tour the world and sell out a stadium show. That has been a dream of mine since I was young and to realize it would be such an amazing full circle moment that I hope I can achieve in my lifetime. I'd also love to help reduce world hunger.
