Drummr Africa is a digital press platform that documents the emerging cultures of the African creative industry through art forms (music, writing and visuals). One of our missions is to connect African creatives towards collaboration in the arts. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Collectiv3, Live. Create. Repeat Nok Cultural Ensemble, Njhyi Various Artists, Global Citizen - EP 1 The beauty of collective projects can be synonymous to a quill made by one's grandma through knitting. Bringing materials from various fabrics, creating motifs of various colours and patterns - that's what true art is. Various Artists, Global Citizen - EP 1 This project inspires us to keep creating collaborative collective projects; albums or EP. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The creation of 'Yamen Yamen', our first collaborative music project stays on par with our consistent effort towards documenting African creative culture on our digital magazine, drummrafrica.com Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Creating a recording camp for a collective album, and hosting an exhibition & pop-up show for it. Ultimately, to be some sort of museum for African music.
