In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Aged 8, I dropped the needle on Ruggiero Ricci’s recording of Paganini’s 24 Caprices. The violin sound mesmerized me instantly! In that moment, I knew playing the violin was exactly what I wanted to do with my life. It changed everything for me. Tell us why you chose this song. “Flight of the Bumblebee” In 2010, I was awarded the Guinness World Record live on BBC TV for being the ‘World’s Fastest Violinist’ while playing this piece. I've since performed it globally, and I still get a massive thrill every single time I play it!
