In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My step-dad played bass and six-string. He was a wheeler-dealer, so he'd drag me all over lower Michigan hunting for steals on guitars that he could resell at a profit to someone. He wasn't ever in a band, but he sat on the couch and strummed a lot. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dirty On Purpose, Hallelujah Sirens Kenna, Make Sure They See My Face Twin Shadow, Eclipse I listened to a lot of shoegaze and alt rock in high school. But as I got older, I started to expand out into more new wave stuff with eighties influences. I love Kenna's syncopated rhythms and Twin Shadow's synths. And their lyrics are all great! It boils down what I want from my relationships. I long for unconditional love and acceptance - sometimes it seems so hard to get that it feels easier to give up and start over, without the baggage of your history.
