DAY6 is a band of Korean rockers who’ve separated themselves from the K-pop scene with their original pop-punk sound. ∙ Their 2015 debut EP, The Day, reached No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart and also featured their first charting single, “Congratulations.” ∙ After the 2017 launch of their “Every DAY6” campaign, the group released two songs on the 6th of every month, culminating in the release of the Top 10 LPs SUNRISE and MOONRISE. ∙ Recognized as a rising talent in 2017, DAY6 peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart. ∙ In 2019, their SUNRISE LP was ranked No. 14 on Billboard’s 25 Greatest K-Pop Albums of 2010: Staff List. ∙ Nominated for 10 Mnet Asian Music Awards in South Korea, DAY6 won their first in 2020, for Best Band Performance of their hit single “Zombie.”
