In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 7 years old when I became a music lover. It was at my first concert, Rascal Flatts at the Cary Amphitheater. Seeing the crowd singing every word made me wanna be on stage myself. From that day on I was hooked. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Take Care (Deluxe Version) John Mayer, Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live in Los Angeles Keith Urban, Golden Road I've spent more time listening to these records than any others. I'm drawn to songs that make you feel something & these albums are full of them. Between the melodies, lyrics and soul I get everything I need musically. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hearts & Horses” I recently went through one of those breakups where nothing bad happened, it just wasn't meant to be. At a certain point, you have to let go and that can be hard when you still have love for that person. This song is me letting go. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I got to play The Grand Ole Opry a few years ago which still doesn't feel real. It's such a rite of passage as a country artist, that no matter how successful I become, it will always remain one of my highest accomplishments. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I dream big so my bucket list is long, but at the top is headlining Stagecoach and hearing 100,000 people sing my songs back to me. I mostly grew up in Southern California so Stagecoach was a festival I regularly went to.
