From the coal and farm country of Akron, OH, Dave Crossland released his first nationally distributed EP, Fields of Promise on Appleseed Records, in 2000. Shortly after its release, he began working on his debut full-length album. Both projects contained his unique brand of folk which featured passionate anthems about social justice and the Amercian landscape, interspersed with somewhat gentler ballads. ~ Stacia Proefrock
