About Daath

Dååth (rhymes with "goth" and the Hebrew word for "knowledge") is an American death metal band from Georgia, created by guitarist Eyal Levi and keyboardist/vocalist Mike Kameron after the breakup of their Dirt Nap project. Their sound equates classic American technical death metal, thrash, and prog metal. Futility, their 2003 debut album, was issued independently. After a handful of singles and splits, they released 2007's The Hinderers. On 2009's The Concealers for Roadrunner, vocalist Sean Farber and Kameron were replaced by current vocalist Sean Zatorsky and second guitarist Emil Werstler. This roster engineered a deal with Century Media to distribute and promote their Roadrunner recordings beginning with 2010's eponymous Dååth. After a split in 2011, the band was silent until emerging with a new sextet lineup (that included returning members Levi and Zatorsky) to issue a handful of singles in preparation for their comeback album The Deceivers in 2024.
