About DA PUMP

∙ Hip-hop-leaning J-Pop boy band DA PUMP was formed in 1996, when the members met at the Okinawa Actors School entertainment academy.
Beat Ball, their third album, topped the Japanese charts in 2000.
∙ DA PUMP recorded the closing theme for 2005’s Kamen Rider: The First, and lead singer Issa “ISSA” Hentona has a small role in the superhero film.
∙ Their video for “U.S.A,” their 2018 cover of Joe Yellow’s ’90s Eurobeat hit, has received 225 million views.
∙ The group choreographed the video for J-Pop idol group SKE48’s No. 1 hit “Soyutokoaruyone?” in 2019.
