In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest music memory would be my introduction to the world of rap when I was 15. The production and lyrical flow pulled me in immediately. I've been hooked on rap and RnB since. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bryson Tiller, T R A P S O U L Drake, Nothing Was the Same (Deluxe) Deluxe Post Malone, Hollywood's Bleeding These three albums have helped to define my sound as an artist today. These three artists and their music style are a huge inspiration to me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Talk To You Soon” This song is special to me because it encompasses a new era in the "Current" journey. I have changed directions creatively. This song was the first attempt at a new sound. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I decided to take music more seriously in the fall of 2021. I believe taking that leap to take time in the studio, open myself up to criticism and learn how to make a song is the most memorable step in my career so far. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to sign a distribution deal at some point to get my music to more people. I believe I have intentional things to say that could positively impact others. This is what I want to accomplish with my music.
