Cryptic Shift

Cryptic Shift are an extreme, technical thrash and death metal band from Leeds, England. Their ambitious approach often incorporates elements of jazz, noise, progressive and doom metal, neo psych, and black metal. Following a pair of demos in 2014 and 2015, and a pair of singles, the band released the Beyond the Celestial Realms EP in 2016 for Fractured Minds. Their debut album, Visitations from Enceladus, arrived in 2020 on Blood Harvest. They signed with Metal Blade in 2025 and released sophomore album Overspace & Supertime in February 2026.
