About Core13
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing a small talent show as absolute nobodies (shadows of shells of people) that nobody cared for or about and feeling our first semblance of what true freedom is. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? At the Drive-In, Relationship of Command Fenix TX, Lechuza No Use for a Name, Hard Rock Bottom Mostly its the Latinx influence here. We loved At the Drive-In and Fenix TX cause they represented what was possible but we would be liars if we didn't memorialize how influential NUFAN's Hard Rock Bottom was to us as singer/songwriters. RIP Tony. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Act 5 Scene III” Act 5 Scene III was our most popular song in the heyday of the underground PDX Punk and Emo scene during the early aughts. The blend of storytelling, lyricism, and melodic vocals brought a lot of new fans into the fold that weren't in the punk scene. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Switchfoot before a massive Rose Garden crowd (now Moda Center) as part of the Portland leg of the Dew Action Sports Tour in 2004. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Nah. We where there. We came, we saw, and for a moment, we conquered.
