About Coolraf

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. An early musical memory I can recall is creating my first beats with Treazy in 2016. He taught me how to use garageband on my Ipod and the rest is history. He was the first person to believe in me as an artist even though I was terrible. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jack Harlow, Come Home The Kids Miss You Playboi Carti, Die Lit Travis Scott, ASTROWORLD Astroworld dropped on my 18th birthday. I remember how amazing it was to listen through the first time without knowing the features. Die Lit is full of great songs and melodies. Finally, Jack Harlow meant it when he said his album was an exhibit. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Raf” This song is definitely one of my most vulnerable in its message. It talks about my upbringing and certain circumstances that lead me to who I am today. coolRaf reflects on who Raf is, how far he's come, and the hopes to see his full potential. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It would have to be my song Issa Banger blowing up on Soundcloud when I was 16. The way people treated me different in real life was shocking and the love and reaction the song received made me realize this was what I'm meant to do. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I really want to touch a Grammy award in my lifetime. That and reach the top ten Billboard charts. Right now I'm so far away from those goals but I fully believe I can achieve them.
