About Clone

Originally started in 1992 as a side project for guitarist/ vocalist Xtra Schneider and drummer Mick Snake; both of whom were playing in Meth 25 while living in Philledipha. But once the two moved to San Francisco in 1993, Clone would eventually take off four years later upon the recruitment of bassist Liz E Beta, guitarist Count Vlad, and synth and sampler Android the Mechanical Boy. Taking the synth-pop, experimental route to their new found scene of the Bay Area, Clone's line-up shuffled a bit once Kell Fiyah took over on the synthesizer responsibilities from the departing Android. Soon after, they released their first full length Not Feeling Quite Like Yourself Today? on Evil Eye Records in 1998. ~ Mike DaRonco
