In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was very small, my Oma and Opa had a pair of old apple trees in their backyard. I would sit in my seat in the apple tree, singing for hours on end, sometimes joining in with the choir as they practiced in the church just behind their house. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Holly Williams, The Highway Marc Cohn, Marc Cohn Watchhouse, Tides of a Teardrop All of these albums explore the beauty of love, loss and renewal. Of the connections within families and how they shape who we are, of inherited joy and sadness that trickles through our veins to let us feel our humanity. Tell us why you chose this song. “Snow Came Falling” I wrote this in the car, in a great snowfall as we brought our youngest child home from the hospital after she was born. I kept singing it over and over, so I would remember it when I got home, and could record it for her.
