Each transport me to a time and place when I defined my identity with music and feelings. They are so pure in their essence, up there with Radiohead, Sun kil moon, Jonsi, & Joanna Newsom <3 Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Calm er Down (feat. Oh Liza Jane)” This is the last song I wrote for Dead Meat, and it's now my favorite track. It's journalistic, self-comforting, and aspirational. Emotionally it holds the apex of the record and I'm obsessed with James' drums and Liz's vocals. So glad it was born.
