In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a child, I always gravitated to noise, so it was fitting that in my first music class in preschool, I chose to play percussion which led me to the drums, which led me to more instruments that I now play to create music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lupe Fiasco, Lupe Fiasco's The Cool Mac Miller, Watching Movies with the Sound Off Michael Jackson, Off the Wall These three albums in particular embody the art of storytelling, musicality, and authenticity that inspire me to create the music I do in the manner I produce it. These are also three albums that are timeless in nature, and incredibly enjoyable. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rain” Rain is a special song of mine because it marks the end of a period in my life, and also the beginning of a new one. Rain is cleansing and nurturing so I wanted to capture those same elements in the song as well. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Every moment is memorable. From being an opening act on tour to being the touring bassist for a headline act, playing arenas and festivals, every moment adds up in the history books. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Headlining a world tour is the big thing left on my bucket list. If I can do that then it means I would have crossed off some of the smaller things on my list along the way.
