About Bedouine

A Syrian-born, Los Angeles-based songwriter who draws on 1960s and '70s folk and country influences for her glimmering yet intense songs, Azniv Korkejian began crafting her retrofitted indie folk as Bedouine in the mid-2010s. She released her eponymous debut album in 2017, followed by the acclaimed Bird Songs of a Killjoy and Waysides in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
