In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was young I got an MP3 player as a gift, but I didn't have a way to get new songs. So I would use the microphone on my MP3 player to record songs off the radio so I could listen to them later. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lil Wayne, Tha Carter III Musiq Soulchild, Juslisen (Special Edition) Special Edition Rexx Life Raj, The Blue Hour Juslisen because Musiq Soulchild is one of my favorite artists and this album is a classic. The Blue Hour because I've gone through similar moments in life and every song spoke to my life. Tha Carter III because it's an absolute Hip-Hop master class. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Coast (feat. Jaye Baylis)” Coast is a special song because not only did I record, mix, and master the whole song (as usual), but I produced the beat AND brought my guy Jaye Baylis out of retirement. Jaye was my engineer when I first started so Coast brought it full circle. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I performed in Memphis it was the first time some of my family got to see me live. During that show I changed the energy of the room, and visually I was performing in front of a big window as the sun was going down behind me. It was beautiful. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list still has a lot of things left on it, but they will continue to get checked off on my journey.
