In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up in 1980s Arizona, there was only rock-and-roll and country music on the radio, so when new wave artists like The Cars, Gary Numan and Duran Duran made the cross-over our minds were blown with all these new sounds. There was no going back.
