In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. hearing muslim prayer hymms a little kid at juma prayer, which always stuck with me melodically. only recently have i realized how much of an influence those early memories were on my music, even if not apparent on first glance. Johnny Yukon, Installation I Kanye West, 808s & Heartbreak Nine Inch Nails, Year Zero year zero for its world building and storytelling over mind blowing beats. installation i for the production and cinematic yet wavy lyrics by johnny yukon 808's for.. well.... do i really need to explain? ;) Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “World On Fire” this one just came out of me in one take when i finished the beat. it's the one i can listen to over and over still. it's a vibe. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? watching fans share my first release as a singer/songwriter. it was a feeling beyond any other, and continues to bring me joy. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? in the future i want to figure out a system to share royalties with the fans, much like what LaRussell is doing right now. that's my next goal: find a way to spread the blessings.
