In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 3 years old, my dad would take me to his band rehearsals, and I'd sit in front of the kick drum in between sets. I loved being surrounded by the instruments and hearing the musicians glue their ideas together. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Our Lady Peace, Spiritual Machines Radiohead, OK Computer Weezer, Weezer Ok Computer was the perfect divide between Weezer and grungier bands like Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and Our lady Peace. Weezer are the kings of straightforward brilliance, and Spiritual Machines is the palate cleanser. My musical reset. Tell us why you chose this song. “Someone to Love” "Someone to Love" was one of the first songs we wrote after being dropped by our label. As a song it said everything we felt in that moment. It has so much energy live and remains one of our favorites to perform. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We were driving the streets of LA when we found out our first single "Take Me Out" had gone viral and was blowing up the internet. We couldn't concentrate, had to cancel all our plans. Then we heard the song on KROQ in LA and starting freaking out. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Play a live show on Mars. Can't wait to play in Japan, Korea, China, South America, Europe.
