In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember toy instruments in my parents living room and giving live performances with my brothers. Reenacting songs from the Isley brothers, and the Jackson 5. Even in my free time I would watch a recording of Michael Jacksons Dangerous tour. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joey Bada$$, B4.Da.$$ Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Nas, Illmatic These albums inspire me so much! My mom used to play the Lauryn album almost every car ride, its a classic! From the elevated frequencies of Joey to the nostalgic storytelling from Lauryn and Nas; these are artists who speak to my hiphop soul. It's high energy and twice as fun to perform. Check the Mic takes me to those times when my friends and I were pushing through the underground hip hop scene in Denver. Just skating and writing rhymes. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing The Wolf & The Social Club has to be one of the most memorable moments so far. Crafting a body of work for multiple months, then finally giving it to world is such a great feeling. This concept I had in my mind is now a foundation. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Performing in Japan is at the top of my bucket list. Also collaborating with Joey, Lauryn Hill, and Erykah Badu would really make some of my music dreams come true. In due time, I'm determined to make it all happen.
