About Arnaud Dolmen

The melodic quality of French drummer and percussionist Arnaud Dolmen's agile rhythms reflects his Caribbean upbringing. The Paris-born, Guadeloupe-raised Dolmen has performed in a large number of different settings -- he played with Franck Nicolas in his outfits Maman Gwada and Psychedelick Trio; was a member of the trio Zetliyo, which accompanied singer Sia Tolno; recorded an album with the FDH Trio; and played with the Nono Experiment quintet at the Baiser Salé in Paris, among other things. His acclaimed debut album, Tonbé Lévé, with a lineup that included guitarist Lionel Loueke, was released in 2017, followed by Adjusting in 2022. In 2024, Dolmen presented his third record, LéNo, a duet album with his long-term collaborator, Bolivian pianist Leonardo Montana.
