California rapper Ambjaay broke out in 2019 with the Latin-influenced viral hit “Uno.” • Ambjaay was introduced to music by his brother, who’s a producer. He began rapping after high school and blew up within a couple of years. • The lighthearted, Spanish-infused "Uno" blew up on TikTok, becoming an instant summer classic. Ambjaay viewed the song as an opportunity to unite Blacks and Mexicans by blending their cultures. • Having signed with Columbia Records, Ambjaay released the EP It Costs to Live Like This Pt. 2 in 2020. The only featured artist is Wiz Khalifa, an early supporter of his career.
